Sort of in panic mode right now. I’m taking the SATs again tomorrow after first taking them in June. The ID I used to get in to the June with is lost. It is not where I remember puttting it. I’ve basically torn my house apart looking for it with no success. Am I screwed? I heard passports are acceptable but mines been expired (got it in 08). And I got it when I was under 16. I am taking the SATs at my school so is there a way to identify me?
Do you have a driver’s permit or license?
Take what you have. Some places will take an expired passport as ID but not as proof of citizenship (they might not even notice it is expired). Take old student IDs. Go down to the DMV and get a state ID today. Ask your school for an ID (letter with your picture stapled to it)
No on the permit and license. I may have to take my passport. Hopefully if the people checking are teachers I know, they may let it slide.
A passport is a photo ID.
And it’s not worth my professional reputation to let anything slide. This is one exam where we play by the letter of the law.
You can make a temporary one! If school is out for the day, your bank or city hall may have a notary.

You can use an old school ID from 2016-17. I hope you are admitted.
