So I got the results this morning and it seems like I have a 730. The thing is, I’ll applying to super selective schools like HYPS for early action and my prospective major is going to be the subject I took. Should I take it again? If I do, will the colleges receive both scores and would this be a minus to my application?
Quite devastated as all my other SAT and SAT II scores were in the 790-800 range.
Personally, I would not tell you to retake it. It is one score in the entirety of your application, and if that is enough to weaken it, then there is not enough to begin with.

No do not retake it. A 730 is not bad especially considering all your other scores are extraordinarly high! Focus your time on a killer college application (essays and the sort) instead! Good Luck!
