HELP Major mistake on my Cal state app?

I made a really stupid mistake and totally disregarded the chemistry honors course I took my sophomore year. I got a C first semester and a D second semester. I'm taking it again this year but its regular chemistry. I wasn't aware that for this class only are honors and regular considered totally different courses. I didn't include the honors course for my applications to CSUF, CSULA, and San Francisco State. Will they assume I tried to hide the class? I will try to contact the admission offices ASAP. Am I totally doomed or will they consider my situation?

Just explain the situation - your thought the retake of regular chem would replace the grades for last years honors chem. You have subsequently discovered that this isn’t the case and you wanted them to have accurate information about your grades in sophomore year. Apologize for omitting that information. Short and sweet. You are not doomed if you self-reported the omission. Students who are doomed are the ones who think they are pulling a fast one by omitting information in their application that is obvious on their transcripts.
