First of all, I am currently very, VERY disappointed in myself. I have a 3.2 weighted GPA (and don't get me started on my SAT scores) and messed up my whole high school life. I wish I had done better and regret every day. So much that I would go back through High school all over again just to raise my GPA. Basically, I got rejected to both UCD and UCSB. I'm waiting on UCI (I heard there is one last wave this weekend ekk!) but I'm probably not going to get it. I still really want to go to a UC. Really REALLY bad.

On the brighter side, I got into SJSU and Sacramento States. So my question is is it worth it to spend 4 years in SJSU or Sac State? Or should I go to community college and end up in a UC? The risk of that is that I might not do well in a UC and have to go back to a CSU. Which way is better money-wise? Is there a chance I can transfer out of a CSU after 2 years? I know it's very hard, but does anyone know anyone who have done it before? And also, does anyone have experience at Sac State because I barely heard anything about that school.

Lastly, I'm considering appealing my rejection. Do I have a chance at all? My first semester senior grade improved. Not drastically but it still noticeable. Is it worth a try?

I'm sorry for so many questions. It's a depressing time for me. UCD rejection hit me really really hard. So if you guys can help me, please help me. I greatly appreciate your time.
