Help! Math 1 vs math 2 score -_-

<p>Hi all. I recently applied to CMU and, when looking at my application, noticed that my 800 in math 1 was used instead of my 800 in math 2. After noting this, I emailed CMU admissions and asked them why this had happened. I got this response:</p>

<p>"We have received all of your subject test scores. Seeing you scored an 800 on your Math 1 score we are using that score. I assure you we have all other subject tests completed."</p>

<p>What are they trying to say? Do they value math 1 above math 2? I'm confused and slightly annoyed. Someone help!</p>

<p>Just call the admissions office and ask them to use your Math II score. Try to speak to an afmissions counselor as the receptionists probably won’t change it for you.</p>
