School preference: urban location, big city, Eastcoast, low tuition, strong science education, no party school, a unique program-like Drexel's co-op. Nevertheless, I will still consider small schools as long as their science is strong and.

List:
University of Washington-Seattle (should I consider this a safety?)
University of Pittsburgh
Drexel University
Whitman College
Boston University
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (total reach??)

I think I need like two more safeties on my list? So please help me. Also, please do take my major into consideration when helping me select schools. Thank you very much!

Why do you have expensive schools on your list if you want low tuition?

Boston U won’t give you any money.
UMich is $50k per year and won’t be a source for money either.

How much can your parents pay each year?

I would apply to Northeastern University > Boston University because of their co-op program.

Also, Whitman College is nowhere near a big city

mom: I have Boston U because they are known for their pediatric/medical program. Location was a huge plus. I am hoping that I’ll get lots of financial aid from BU.

pierre: I know Whitman is in a rural setting, but my dad really wants me to apply. So if I get accepted I’ll visit the campus to see if I like it. Also, I’ve already checked out Northeastern but it doesn’t really appeal to me.

Any other schools? Or are my stats too low?

^^^^

Ah, you hope to get lots of F/A from BU. :)

Do you know what your EFC is? Do you know if your paremts can meet their EFC? That will determine what you’re eligible for in F/A.

Does anyone know if BU meets 100% of need? with or without loans

I’m sure there are other schools to suggest, but if your family’s EFC is high, and they can’t pay it, then we need to suggest other schools.
