Hey guys!

I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me pinpoint and choose the strongest topic for my common app this year!

I'm not doing the first one, cause well that's too generic and well it's too common for me.

2) Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what lessons did you learn?

First time competing in a band competition, failed terribly because I was ignorant and arrogant. Believing that my family's musical talent and reputation would help me instead, learned by working harder and developing a passion for music and my instrument.

3) Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again?

After moving to California, I had the best opportunity to change who I was, but I decided not to. Due to the obvious integrity, morals and people should be able to accept me as myself. I had the chance to be the popular guy, or at least make an attempt to. But instead I stuck with the people like me, and I remained true to myself.

4) Describe a place or environment where you are perfectly content. What do you do or experience there, and why is it meaningful to you?

Band room practice room or my imagination ( unlike, others who talk about libraries or the basketball court. where I am perfectly content with myself is my own imagination and creativity. )

5) Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked your transition from
childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family.

I volunteered off the coast of Georgia for 3 weeks, without any family, technology or modern technology and appliances. I learned to cherish the environment and outdoors, through working. Also found a better sense of myself through the use of activities and learning my spirit animal.

Thanks guys!
