@MYOS1634 thank you, I will try to make a good decision.

@BHhazy TY for helping me out

Hi dishkyaoon. I too am deciding between some good schools and I am leaning towards Purdue(Mech Engg). From what I have heard, it is very easy for Asians to get the required 3.2 GPA to move into ur major, provided you study regularly and keep a limit on the fun part.

@shadowgunkiller i think i am different from those asian stereotypical people who are represented to be too brainy but still I am a hard working person. so i think i may pull through FYE. and I will try to remove the fun part for the most of the time

You don’t necessarily need to be brainy to clear FYE. Not all my friends are brainy and most are successful at Purdue. Many of the things taught in FYE are similar to the things we learn in CBSE 11th and 12th. So, if u do well in CBSE, u will do well in FYE.

@shadowgunkiller so, it’s doable. TY

Very much. In fact many of my friends say that the first year at Purdue was a breeze and is a good way to boost ur grades. Some found the 2nd and most found the 3rd year to be much more difficult.

yea as previously represented in one of the replies LEVEL ups occur as we progress through degree.
