Yay! I will officially be going to Indiana for this coming Fall! I am so excited!

But now i have to choose housing...
I think that i am rather late in doing this but anyways...
I'm really confused with so many options and seriously need some inputs!

I'm thinking of applying for Residence Scholar but what are exactly the requirements?
Also can i apply to other learning communities if i am a residence scholar?
Do all residence scholars live in singles or they have doubles as well?

I'm curious to know more about Collins LLC, Foster Intl LLC, FIGs, Global Village LLCs, well it's just too many. I just want to know how all of you came to pick your choices.

You’re really late. Like really late. At this point I think unless your a “special case” you’re just going to get what they have left. Collins is probibly full, and so are most of the rest of them.

Sorry.

But umm… I picked Central, Honors, Single. I liked central because it’s close to the business school but not right in the middle of all the parties, honors because I’m in hutton honors, and single because I wanted atleast some place I could call my own.

I hope that helps… tho it probibly doesnt. Sorry.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t visit Indiana campus even once and really want to know how the dorms generally look like. For instance, for a double room, how many room does a floor consist of? How many people live together on a floor and is it like hotel style? i.e. Corridor and then doors to your rooms on both sides…

anyone has got pictures?

Here is some info on all the neighborhoods.

This discusses residence scholars. Residence scholars is usually the last type of housing to fill up, so if you meet the academic requirements, you can still probably get in. Even if you don’t meet the requirements, you might apply. I know people on this site have got into Residence Scholars in the past and applied really late, like in June or July.

any Residence Scholars here?
