Help me choose my AP classes for next year.

I have two slots left to fill on my schedule. I don’t know what I want to majpr in. Possibilities:

AP Euro and AP Gov

AP Euro and AP French

AP French and AP Gov

The Euro teacher at my school is great (from what I’ve heard) and his class is good for college experience cause its very much like a college class. As a plus, I already know him through an academic activity (I’m currently an officer) and I can probably get a great letter of recommendation. Great teacher but I’ll have to do a hell of a lot of reading to keep up. Easy 5 from what I hear.

AP Gov has a laidback teacher and the class is an easy ‘A’. Most people don’t do any work because they don’t need to, but they discuss current events and debate a whole lot. I’m in MUN, so this sounds cool. Um…yeah I’d have to actually study at the end of the year for the AP exam though. There’s a trip in May, too, and it’s supposed to be a lot of fun.

I’m taking an honors French class right now with the AP French teacher, and she’s awesome. She’s an easy grader but we still learn a lot. People who currently take AP French say it’s a good class. The downside is that barely anyone is taking AP French next year because most people go on to take electives their senior year at my school. Probably an officer for FHS next year though…

Yeah. If you’ve taken any of these classes/ exams, please help and leave some input/advice.

Thanks.

choice 1.........

Choice 2, I would say.
But AP French will be hard if you're not a bilingual french speaker or naturally talented in languages.

I say 3 b/c...

1) You're in MUN. This can give you invaluable information.
2) Colleges would prefer you to take 4 years of a language.
3) AP Gov. is easier than AP Euro.
4) Have fun your senior year and at least take an easier AP :)

I would have to pick either option 1 or 2 and here's why:

1-this option looks like it would get you ready for a social studies career in college. Both classes have the reputation of being hard core classes. Especially Euro, not that many kids take it. But a lot of my senior friends took government.

2-this option offers the overall package that colleges want. As I said you will be taking Euro a very difficult class and a four year language, which really looks good in college essays.

hope this helps -
