Help me choose my college!!!

Hi, I need help choosing college!

I am a transfer student so I am admitted to the following schools as a Junior. The major I am admitted is computer science and I am interested in AI and hope to pursue a career in that direction.

I have been admitted to various schools but I am having difficulties choosing between:

University of Washington - Seattle
And
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor

Please dont consider the expense but do consider that I want to continue studying onto masters or start working after my bachelor’s if I get into a high salary, stable, and big company.

Any opinion helps!

My vote is for U of M. A degree from that school is worth a lot. The education is in-depth and provides a stable foundation for pursuit of higher education and success in the work force.

What big companies are in Michigan? Sesttle has Amazon and Microsoft headquarters, plus engineering offices for a number of companies including Dropbox, eBay, Facebook, Google, etc.

If you want to intern at a big company, Seattle is your town.

You can do well for yourself with a CS degree from either school. However, I believe a Michigan degree is more versatile and will open more doors, even for industries you did not consider before.

Admission to the University of Washington’s Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering is a tremendous achievement. Congratulations, and good luck!

Definitely University of Washington their compsci program is one of the best

I would choose Michigan if it were me. However, you can’t go wrong with two great choices.

UW will be more known in the CS world but only slightly. I think being in Seattle generally would be an advantage for your goals post-grad as well. As others have said, no bad choice.

Both are great choices; flexibility to choose any location for work comes from low debt and that means freedom to pick the best job offer: you can’t go wrong so pick the cheapest
