Help me choose one more school

Hello guys am choosing my schools and already I have sent scores to IIT, Lehigh, Upenn and Swarthmore. I am now sending to 4 more schools and chose MIT(more like a wishful choice), Dartmouth, Cornell, and would like to add one more school which can be my safety school yet good enough with full aid for international students. I had 2090 in sat: 750M 640CR, 700W. Just took the sat 2 and expecting 800 in math 2 and over 750 in physics. Pretty much not impressive but I believe in the power of ECs and essays and GOD!. Please help me choose a good match so I can include that before dec 16th. Thanks!

What’s your gpa?

4.0
always top of class

forgot to add this, I am from Ghana

How much can you afford? You need to add more safeties and actually matches onto your list. Your SAT score is good but not great for the majority of the schools on your list. The only one I think you have a decent shot at getting into would be Lehigh and that may be iffy since you are an international student.

Well finance is a major issue and I would like a college that meets 100% student demonstrated need. As I said, I really need your help in choosing a “safety” school. A school with decent engineering program and good aid.

There aren’t any safeties for international students who require/need financial aid.

@Spiral, thanks but try and understand me, I need a school that is “wisely” within my range. You know, a kid from ghana got into cornell with 1740 and another too with 1900 but of course, we are different. So I need a school that I stand a chance, not necessarily a guarantee. alright?

Macalester is very good about giving out financial aid to international students. You might be a match for them.

@soccerox95. I just looked them up at collegeapps and they are a pretty decent school with wonderful diversity but no engineering. I am really bent on attending a college with good engineering. tnx for the input though, appreciate it a lot.

You can apply to University of Alabama’s College of Engineering for the Full-tuition scholarship + stipend (it’s automatic for your stats) but HURRY the deadline is on Sunday!

Not a safety, but look at Olin.

@MYOS1634: Thats great. Anyway what is my chances at Tufts? Will look into Olin too, hear its a top school as well.

Olin is excellent for engineering so if what you see on the website interests you (especially the senior projects), do apply.
Tufts is a low reach.

@MYOS1634, or anyone else, could you tell me what low reach means? I see it frequently on this forum. Olin vs Tufts, which could I really have a chance?

Northeastern has an amazing engineering program! It’s 5 years but you have co-ops and internships. That could be a match/safety for you.

Chance me back?

Really, the early decision had some really top scores and EC’s.
