Help me choose school for Bioengineering

I have received admissions at UCSD and UCLA for bioengineering. I have not heard from UCB, Cornell and Stanford (Stretch) yet. Will know in just a few days.

Can anyone help me rank these schools for getting a good overall engineering and bioengineering education.

I'm not sure how current this data is, but I found this list as the top schools for Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Hope this helps!

1 Johns Hopkins University (MD)
2 Massachusetts Institute of Technology
3 University of California–San Diego
4 Duke University (NC)
5 University of Washington
6 Case Western Reserve University (OH)
7 Georgia Institute of Technology
8 University of Michigan–Ann Arbor
9 University of Pennsylvania
10 University of California–Berkeley
11 Rice University (TX)
12 Northwestern University (IL)
12 Stanford University (CA)
14 University of Utah
15 University of Virginia
16 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY)
17 Washington University in St. Louis
18 Columbia University (Fu Foundation) (NY)
20 Boston University
20 Harvard University (MA)
20 University of Texas–Austin

Thanks crazy14. I know that the rankings are likely to change in the near future because some of the programs are fairly new. It looks like I can't go wrong with UCSD, UCB and Stanford.

Didn't MIT just announce its biomedE major like this year? Or was it some other major?

MIT always had Biological engineering, Biomed maybe a major? but 1. stanford 2. berkeley/cornell 3. ucsd

john hopkins, duke, ucsd

ucsd is the best in the uc's for biongineering. undergrad program is #3 and grad program is #2 on usnews.com

I’m in a similar situation so I was wondering what you decided to do and your reasons for doing so. I have to decide by today D:
