Help me choose the right career path!

I've always been a great student in English and Social Studies, however, I've never been strong in science and math, only earning B's and C's. In a month I'll be a senior, will be taking my SATs in October again, and have yet to choose a career path. I was thinking of becoming a lawyer, but I highly doubt I'll be finding a job (many people tell me they couldn't find jobs after completing law school). Law school is also a bit pricey.

So my question to you guys is, what career path should I take considering my strong areas? I live in NYC if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Oi. Good luck. I’m going into my sophomore year of college and still haven’t the faintest clue what I’m going to do beyond that.

You’re strong in those areas, but what are your interests? Is there a particular aspect of those classes that you enjoy? Is it the research, the writing, the editing, or the insight into human history or society, or are you interested in other things that your strong suits could supplement or complement? There’s a lot you can do with those strengths, but only some of these possibilities will match your interests and be worthwhile for you.

I totally agree with TitoMorito. Go with what interests you even if it is not your strongest area (it just means you have to put a little more work in). Though you don’t need to decide right now, you don’t even need to have your major for college picked.

Oo I live in NYC as well but in Brooklyn though. But anyways trying becoming a lawyer even if you say law school is a bit pricey. It seems like your passionate about it. For me I crossed in becoming a Congressional Representative or a Corporate Lawyer.
