Help Me Choose: Tisch, BU, USC, UCLA!

Hi, my name is Ally and I am a set design major. I have been accepted to several colleges among them, NYU, BU, USC, and UCLA all for set design. I have also been priority waitlisted at Carnegie Mellon (crossing fingers on that one). I need some outside opinions both on my potential debt and the caliber of the school.

NYU--> graduate with 36k in loans
BU--> graduate with 55k in loans
USC--> graduate with 18k in loans
UCLA--> graduate with the 50k I didn't spend in my pocket

Btw, I would like to work in both theatre and film.

So which is the best choice?

You're full ride at UCLA?

I'd say NYU just because it's a reasonable amount to pay AND you have the luxury of being close to wonderful theatres and be able to make really good industry connections.

No, but it is super cheap for me to go to UCLA.

I am definitely leaning towards Tisch at the moment. BU seems to expensive for what it's worth. If I had to pay 55k for Carnegie then that is a different story.

Any more ideas? Perhaps from someone who went to one of these programs as acting or tech or whatnot.

i would say Tisch too....it's after all the greatest film school nationwide.. ..and how do u think of Northwestern, comparing to NYU? I have been accepted to both and can't make decision now

Karlawang-- What are you planning to major in at NU and NYU? What did you get for financial aid? I think those two questions will help you decide.

So BU is out. It is between USC, UCLA, and NYU. I am visiting this weekend but any more opinions?
