Help me choose!!!!!! UVA Mcintere vs Berkeley HAAS VS Michigan ROSS

Help me choose!!!!!! UVA Mcintere vs Berkeley HAAS VS Michigan ROSS

Which one should i go?

Seriously i am having a headache.

Money is not the issue, the only issue is that what business school can provide better education and respect.

I know all of the schools above are excellent, but which one is the best and which one is the least.

I lol’d

LOL you like, but i seriously cannot decide.

Are you a preferred admit?

I know this might sound like a joke, but what can i say i got really lucky.

Help me out man, its a serious dilemma

Ross=Haas>UVA

so i should go for ROss or HAAS than Mcintere?

so i should go for ROss or HAAS than Mcintere?

What are the merits of each

Did you get in preferred admit or not? Yes or no?

i said ya, so yes i did get in pre-admit

Alright, I read your post:

I bolded the important part. Go to Haas, easily.

wow you are a michigan student and even you advise HAAS over ROSS

Maybe i was wrong to put Mcintere in the league with HAAS and ROSS

If you are a pre-admit at Ross, then I would choose that over McIntire (notice the spelling correction) or Haas.

If not, then I would choose McIntire.

The reason is fairly simple;–at this time, the economy sucks in both California and Michigan and will not improve soon. The economy in Virginia is great and in Washington, D.C. is outstanding. Getting an internship will be much easier as a result and there are recruiters at McIntire from all along the east coast.

Essentially, you need to consider where you plan to locate long-term. If you are international and going back home, it won’t matter much. Otherwise, McIntire=east coast, Ross=Chicago and the midwest, and Haas=west coast.

P.S. I live in the SF Bay area and work near UC Berkeley, but my son has taken classes at McIntire (although he graduates from Indiana-Bloomington this year).

Michigan Ross

Hmmm… So pre-admit Ross=HAAS if not Mcintre
I got in already, so i guess Ross or HAAS pick one?

False. All the top east cost (=NYC) companies come to recruit at Ross. Ross > McIntire in general. Ross > Haas for east coast, Haas > Ross for west coast.

(Unrelated: Looking forward to not having to think about math for 4 months)

You’re from CA. Ross is heavily recruited along the east coast.

Is there a reason you keep capitalizing the name of the school like that? It kinda bugs me.

Seems like you are an international student, and if you plan on going back home to work, I’d advise going to Berkeley. Berkeley’s international reputation far exceeds McIntire and UVA and still exceeds Michigan by a reasonable amount I believe. (Especially in Asia)

I’m calling shenanigans. The op didn’t get into all (or any) of the three programs. This is just to facilitate debate about the three schools.

It is common practice to do so, I don’t understand why it bugs you, lol. It’s called the Stephen M. Ross School of Business aka the Ross School of Business aka Ross.
