Help me choose which essay?

I've written one but it's very generic--- parent's immigrating to America/value of education.
The second one is about experiences in China and their lack of medical care. But I wrote it recently, so it's not very well written.

If you would like you could give me critique on both essays but all I really want is for you to choose which one the admissions would rather read...

thank you!

Well I think I am pretty much set to read essays the rest of the night :) I've enjoyed most so far. If you would like to send it over I will read. I would prefer email though so if you would like me to look them over, critique, and pick my favorite just PM and I'll give you my email.

Choose the one that is the most personal, detailed, honest and revealing.

There are no generic or cliche topics.

There are only generic or cliche treatments of topics.

Imo, keep that in mind when evaluating you two essays.

thanks for the advice!

As ADad said "the one with most details", I will chose the first one because you give it more time.
