Please PLEASEE help me make a decision between these two colleges. I’m in the college of arts and sciences for both, not major declared. I’m an international Latin American student. What I like about Cornell is the selectivity and the brand name it carries, however Ithaca and the weather don’t attract me that much. What I like about UT is the laid-back stereotype, the social scene and Austin, however I don’t like that it is such a big school and maybe that carries a huge party scene.
Please help me!

Pick the one that best suit your interests
Pick the one that best suits you. Will you enjoy being in a small community or a large community? Prestige? UT still holds a good value to its name.
What do you like? At the end of the day, graduating with a prestigious name won’t make you happy. It’s the experiences and memories you build at that college that make you happy (or unhappy)
If you like the party scene and the social scene, come to UT! Austin is a fun and beautiful city and there is plenty to do here Also the weather at the college you go to is a big deal! It could make or break your day!
To me it sounds the only thing you like about Cornell is it’s name. If that’s the only issue I strongly suggest reevaluating your priorities and think about UT.
