I was accepted into JMU’s engineering and honors program and have received a scholarship to go there. I was also accepted into VT, but I have not received any scholarships there. My goal is to work for NASA and I have done several summer programs at NASA. I feel like, by going to JMU, I would be able to get a much broader education and would be able to potentially double major, setting myself up for grad school. JMU also has a 2-year capstone project that may help me explore an area of my choosing, which could impress future employers. However, VT is much better known for engineering and has many research and internship opportunities. I would like to go to grad school for aerospace engineering or a related field, but I want a solid education in case I decide against grad school later on in life. Any thoughts?
