I am a freshman in Warren and my major is human biology. So far i have decided to take chem 6a and wcwp 10a. But I still have no clue about what to take for my math and warren pofc. I was recommended to take either math 10c, 20c, or 31a H cuz i got a 5 on ap calculus bc exam. Help me decide with my math and pofc!!!!

I suggest taking 20a or b, then taking Chem6AH. I’m not a warren student, but you should ask some warren students.

take 20c and a humanities or social science class that you are interested in to fulfill the PofC

do NOT take 20 a or b, it would be a waste, take 10c, you dont need 20 series as a hum bio major, and as long as you dont think youll be switching to something like biochem-chem, take chem 6a, wcwp 10a, math 10c…the math class should be breezy for your compared to other classes since you seem to have a strong background, so you should probably take a 4th class too

I believe you’ve already have credit for 20A and 20B since you got a 5 for AP calc bc, so you won’t be able to get credit for those classes even if you took them.
So either take Math10C or 20C

what are the differences between math 10c and 20c?

10 series is for everything not science/engineer related. 20 series are for the engineers/science majors.

Many people suggest taking 20 series since it opens a lot of doors for people, thus, even you ever change majors, you wont have to take a math class again since 20 series satisfies the lower div classes.

you dont have to take 20a or b, if you feel like it, take 20c.

if your’e sure you won’t change into some engineering major, i suggest you take the 10 series. 10 series is UNBELIEVABLY easier than the 20 series… believe me i took both. i took math 20A for first quarter and then went down to 10B for the second quarter… and i had such an easy time in 10B because 20A covered about a third of 10B material.

Chem 6A
Math 10C
whatever warren course that is
any one GE you didn’t fulfill yet

oh and dont’ take chem 6ah. definitely NOT worth taking… too much time commitment for nothing in return (no extra point on GPA or anything…)
