<p>I'm going undecided as my major so I just want to hear what you guys think about these colleges. Any input would be great.</p>

<p>Florida State U
Hofstra
SUNY New Paltz
U at Buffalo
Syracuse
Towson</p>
<p>was waitlisted at James Madison U... I may want to see if they accept me again.</p>
<p>Please help me out!</p>

<p>If it’s me, I would choose syracuse. I don’t like florida, heard many negative things about Hofstra (there might be many other CC posters begging you not to go here–just like in other threads). New Paltz is not so reputable and not consider to be among the best in SUNY system. Buffalo is too big and I know nothing about Towson.</p>
<p>I’ve heard good things about Syracuse but know nothing in deep. Please remember that my suggestion is biased so let’s hear what others say :)</p>

<p>I guess Syracuse is the highest ranking of the schools, but it is very rural and the weather is always snowy and grey. I went there for 2 years and couldn’t wait to transfer out. Hofstra is a big commuter school. UBuffalo is also in a remote location and very cold and snowy. Towson does not have the best academic reputation but it does have a rep for having a lot of hot girls haha. I don’t know anything about Florida state…I do like New Paltz though. It’s rep has been rising in the last few years and it does have a creative and artsy population. I guess it depends on what you are looking for and what kind of person you are. The student body varies greatly at the schools you listed.</p>

<p>syracuse is a city but i guess you meant the areas around it. may i ask where you transferred to?</p>
<p>I think Syracuse is the best of that bunch. I was accepted also- I think you’ll have fun there :)</p>
<p>I transferred to NYU. Yeah, even though Syracuse is considered a city it’s not a city you want to spend much time in and it’s not easy getting around all winter.</p>
<p>i’ll probably end up going, its just that they didn’t put me into the school of my choice so I am a little hesitant. and maybe i’ll see you there</p>
