My main goal with this thread is not to weigh the pros and cons of things such as student life, location, dorms, girls, or any other non-academic factor. I plan on re-visiting each school I am considering and I will factor these aspects into my decision. I am less clear on things such as academic reputation, reputation in the industry, amount of research being conducted, and overall quality of the education.

Current Major of Choice (75% sure): Chemical Engineering
Back-Up Major (25% sure): Double Major in Finance and Economics
Perks: Minor track in Engineering/Business, strong alumni network, low unemployment for graduates, high average starting salary, career services

Current Choice of Schools (I am a senior living in NJ):

University of Notre Dame
University of Virginia
Bucknell University
University of Delaware
University of Michigan (not currently a financial option)

So, with that established, what is the overall consensus? My main focus is receiving a solid education, but my close secondary focus in getting a job immediately after graduation and also having internship opportunities every summer.
