Schools I want to go to:

Top Choice: Wharton at UPENN - (High aspirations!)
Second Choice: Stern at NYU
Highly Considered Colleges: Georgetown, University of Chicago(!) - Please help me find more high ranked business colleges I meet criteria to get into!
Backup: Northeastern- Please help me by recommending good backups

Tell me what I can do to make my chances better, what schools I have a good chance to get into, if I should apply early decision to UPENN with what I have, and anything that will help me.

Hey, just want to help you out and put your mind at ease when it comes to the decision process of which schools to apply…you always do 3 categories! You do 2-3 schools each, to be on the safe side…

1.) HIGH REACH - schools you think may be hard to get into, but you never know! So apply to wherever you want to give it a shot: Harvard, Yale, Princeton…sky is the limit!
2.) REACH - school you know you have a really good shot because their candidates match up with your stats (GPA, SATs, ACTs)
3.) SAFETY - school that might not exactly be your top choice, but you know FOR A FACT will accept you…think state schools! You need at least 2 in case everything (knock on wood) goes wrong, at least you know for sure you have 2 you can pick from!

That said, just keep doing what you’re doing…as for schools, anything with in this Top 9 list is HIGH REACH, anything not on there that you’ve heard of w/ good reputation is REACH for your stats, and any in-state school with a not so famous business program is SAFETY!
