Do you think I need to retake SAT for higher scores to apply ED one of them?</p>
<p>Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Michigan offers an ED option. You can apply "early response," in November, which means you get your decision earlier than other applicants, but it isn't binding or single-choice; and they have rolling admissions so the earlier you apply the better, but it really isn't the same situation as for a true ED school. I don't know about Johns Hopkins or NYU's options, but I think you're better off applying to one of them ED rather than Michigan's early response.</p>
<p>If Michigan is like other public universities, you can apply there early and also to another school ED (binding). If so, that's what you should do. Which one of Johns Hopkins or NYU you should apply ED to depends on what you're looking for. JHU seems to have a better reputation in general. Raising your SAT wouldn't hurt any.</p>
<p>I'm thinking that Hopkins would probably defer you ED based on your numbers, especially if you're thinking of majoring in science/premed.</p>
<p>Going ED to NYU (CAS) would, in my opinion, give you the best shot at admission.</p>
