The problem here is I was planning to emphasize this too in my personal statement, but the thing I won has nothing to do with pre-medical and I think colleges love it even more when you really introduce your love towards what you want to be. o_o I don’t know, I might be wrong.

Could you guys help me determine, if there’s more information you guys would like to know, I’d be more happy to tell.

shouldn’t you have already heard back by now?

GPA and test scores make you a competitive applicant. EC’s a bit lacking with no leadership but they need not to be focused on pre-med for college admissions. You need to focus on pre-med related EC’s once in college.

If you write some amazing essays, your chances are good at all the UC’s listed and Good Luck.

Could you give some examples for good leadership extra curriculars that is not a president/VP of a club kind of leadership?

Since you participate in varisty track and Xcountry, any chance of obtaining a position as captain? Older son organized an environmental cleanup of our local canyon area and money from the recyclables were donated to the city to pay for a no dumping/littering sign posted in the canyon. Younger son collected old children’s books and donated them to the local daycare centers. Anything that shows initiative will be considered a type of leadership position.

I run in varsity events un-attached, which means I don’t run for the school. It’s more independent training w/ a private coach.
