having strong math AND verbal/writing score (essay awards) is impressive. 90% of students are usually strong in one and not the other..

what are your ECs.. i dont think 1600/800/800/800 4.9GPA is enough for Harvard/Stanford without other things...

upenn and berkeley should be safety for you

Peace!

asfsamurai: Do not underestimate U Penn and Berkeley. Also, internationals with 800 SAT II Math scores and strong verbal/writing scores are a dime a dozen. If you don't believe me, take a look at the RD rosters on these forums.

pepero: I think I know who you are, but for the sake of online anonymity, I'll be quiet. U Penn College would be a match. U Penn JD Programs would be reaches.

When you're describing MUN for your college apps, it would not help to describe each country you were for every conference, unless you had won an award for each one. Participation and winning awards are two different categories. Just a thought.

Overall, nice ECs.

It might help if one had represented a major country in an important committee. Representing China in the Security Council and representing Lesotho in ECOSOC would be two entirely different things, especially at international conferences. (No offense to anyone from Lesotho.)
