anyone???? bummmp

anybody??????

um, fantastic ECs, but bad numbers. i say reject by cornell and JHU unless you can bring up that act by 2. UVA and Umich are both maybes

would i be flat out rejected from cornell even with ED?what do you think about colgate? so, basically which ones should i feel good at and which one will i be a flat out no/? thanks for anytime in advance, i appreciate it

your list seems to be pretty balanced. you can apply to cornel ed, but just don't have high expectations

so would i be right to assume that
Cornell ED and JHU are reasonable reaches
Colgate UVA and UMich are low reaches high matches ( i should get into one?)
UF BU -matches
FSU, Miami-safeties?

if anybody else can give me their opinion itd be great-thanks

UVA is real tough oos

yah, every school on that list is tough tho

anybody else wanta help me out and give some honest feedback?

bumping this up

anyone-i really need some feedback

"Cornell ED and JHU are reasonable reaches
Colgate UVA and UMich are low reaches high matches
UF BU -matches
FSU, Miami-safeties"

I'd say thats pretty much right except uni of Florida might be a safety. You've got great EC's and seemed to be really involved in them. I'd say at Cornell and JHU you have at least a 40% chance of getting accepted. If you apply ED then raise that to a 50 or 55 for Cornell. Congrats on the stats.

I don't think that Michigan and UVA are high matches, rather low reaches. There's a better chance of you getting rejected from both than getting into both. Cornell and JHU are reaches.

i'm not familiar with the ACT at all (only took the SAT.. didnt even know ACT existed until like.. last year LOL)
but i'm impressed by your weighted gpa =d your unweighted.. not so much.

Well with any of those colleges you can't get in on stats alone- (your UW* stats are kind of meh for like Cornell and JHU but you have a reasonable shot at it, if your essays are really good.)

your ec's are pretty good. you've got volunteer and sports down pat. but make sure some other parts of your personality shine through. i mean.. anything you like to do thats quirky? personally, i think if you've been like.. in a knitting marathon or something, you tell them that. cuz it's special and DIFFERENT.

because personally, sports/volunteer would not be something I'd write about, unless it changed my life.

congrats on the stats, though. Although, obviously, it does depend on how competitive your school is.

thanks for the responses-anyone else? i realllllly aprreciate any advice and will return the favor if u have a chance thread

bummmppppppppp, please people, need some feeback

cornell is a reach, but it really isn't all based on scores. i'd say JHU-reach, Michigan-match/slight reach, BU-in, not familiar w/ UVA. the essay is going to be your hook. post this in cornell forum, cuz ppl there are much more experienced. btw, wat is ur ethnicity, because there's considerable weight on that in ivies.

im a poor white boy

bummmmpity bump

wow i hate bumoing this, anybody else wanta give me so feedback?
