Help me fellow CC'ers

Why is C the answer and not E?

Original:
While visiting the Ocala National Forest, the oldest national forest east of the Mississippi, a huge tree fell and almost hit Joan's car

b** While Joan was visiting the Ocala National Forest, the oldest national forest east of the Mississippi, a huge tree fell and almost hit her car.

b** A huge tree fell and almost hit Joan's car while visiting the Ocala National Forest, the oldest national forest east of the Mississippi.

It can’t be (E) because (E) suggests that the huge tree was doing the visiting which of course is illogical.Option (C) on the other hand clearly conveys that Joan was the one visiting the national forest. Try reading (C) without the interrupting clause(am not sure if it is a clause) and it should be clear.

=) HOPE THIS HELPS.

OHHHH you’re right it does!
