Here's my planned junior year schedule, as of now:

English 11H
AP US History
AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry OR AP Physics B
AP Statistics
Spanish 4

I had originally decided to take both AP Chemistry and AP Physics B in one year, but then I realized that it wouldn't be a good idea because

1) AP Chemistry and AP Physics B are considered the hardest courses at my school, and I wouldn't be able to handle the workload
2) there would be no science classes left to take senior year
3) AP Statistics is a prerequisite for Finite/Discrete Mathematics, which I want to take senior year

Because of this, I opted to take AP Statistics instead of one of the science classes. But now that raises the question: AP Chem or AP Physics B? I'm more interested in physics than chemistry, but since I'm currently taking Honors Chemistry, I figure that it would be better to take AP Chemistry next year.

Should I take AP Physics B next because I'm more interested in it, or should I take AP Chemistry for continuity's sake?

Thanks in advance for the help; I really appreciate it.

^ im not sure if there are any colleges that don't accept AP chem or Ap physics B credit! it depends how good you are at honors chem.....if you UNDERSTAND it then i say AP chem

^but at my school (might be different at others) we have to take at least one year of physics, and obviously one wouldn't want to jump straight into AP Physics C, which isn't offered at my school anyway. So basically, it's between honors and AP (no regular classes) and I do not take honors at my school because the kids are so immature.

AP Physics B is my best option for next year even if engineering programs don't accept the exam credit. I will like it more than honors and it will look better on my transcript.

You said you were going to take a science class senior year, correct? If that's the case, I would take AP Chem now (for continuity's sake) and take Physics next year. Plus, by next year you'll have a better math background for the class.
