Help Me Find a College In The Northeast

Hello, I am a junior from Buffalo, New York and am currently looking at schools. I am looking for a school in the Northeast or no longer than a 8-10 hour drive from Buffalo. I am indifferent about a rural or urban campus. I definitely want to go to a medium or large school with exciting athletic teams to root for. Also, great academics and a liberal laid back atmosphere are important to me. I visited University of Pittsburgh and it seemed like a great fit for me, but I want to explore other options. My EFC is around 25k and my parents said 30k is the max amount they can afford to pay each year. Here are my stats:

Ranked 16/223
2060 SAT: 740 Math/660 CR/660 Writing (Waiting for new scores)
All honors and college courses: 6+ APs
Over 90% on every NYS Regent's Exam
Two Years National Honors Society
Employed at minimum wage for one year
Competitively Sailing for 2 years

What are some good safety, match, and reach schools for me? Thanks for anybody who can offer advice.

SU
Colgate
SUNY Binghamton
SUNY Geneseo (doesn’t have the DI sports)
Boston College
Penn State

…I think all of these would be “Match schools”…

Private:
Syracuse, Boston College, Villanova, Providence, Holy Cross & Colgate (smaller, but D1 sports)
Public:
Penn State, Rutgers, Pitt, UConn

Didn’t you get enough suggestions from your other threads?
No? You might get the same posters suggesting the same schools all over again.

university of maryland college park is a really good university
state schools are usually good to look out if you’re unsure
