<p>U. Alabama does have great scholarships. My kid #2 qualifies for full tuition plus $2500/year in engineering. My kid #1 is there now (non-engineer) on a NMF full scholarship (astrophysics). But agree with boneh3ad – don’t go just for football, especially is $$ is no object. Go to the best school for engineering. Money is a concern in our household so the debate for #2 is U. Alabama vs instate (VT or UVA) for engineering. </p>
