Help me find a match school in Canada please?

I'd really love to go to college in Canada, but I'm not familiar with how the school system works there. I've heard that they don't care much about ECs, so here are my grades & classes.

unweighted GPA so far: 3.7
I'm hoping to raise it next year.

Junior year classes:
AP Calc AB
Honors Biology
Honors English 3
Honors French 4
AP US History
1 Semester Honors Consumer Education
Also I got placed in honors gym, which for some reason counts towards academic GPA.

Senior year predicted classes:

AP Psych
AP Stats
AP Chem
Honors French 5
Honors English 4

Projected ACT score:
31 or higher, I'll take it as many times as it takes to get a good score. I'm hoping for a 34.

Do Canadian schools use anything else in admissions? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What is your intended major?
What area of Canada?
How much can you / your family afford to pay?

Intended major: something biomedical or neuroscience related. Can you double major in Canada?
Where in Canada: doesn’t really matter, maybe more east than west.
I have no idea about prices.

For biomed, the University of Toronto and McGill are probably the tops in the country. Both are large research universities with an emphasis on the sciences. Both are east/centrally located in Toronto and Montreal respectively. Neither of them care about ECs for admittance unless you are coming off the waitlist. McGill lists its admission standards for Biological, Biomedical and Life Sciences as a minimum A- gpa (and an A- on any prerequisite science and math courses) an ACT of 30 (minimum 26 on any subscore)
[Admissions Standards - U.S. High School | Applying to Undergraduate Studies - McGill University](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/standards/unitedstates)

Uoft’s standards are less specific but it generally has similar admission standards to mcgill.

Remember these are the minimum standards so if you can try to aim a point or two higher on the ACT and maybe like a 3.75 and you should be in for sure.

Other great schools for biomed include UBC (on the West coast) and University of Western Ontario.

Pre-med?

You need to figure out the cost stuff before you can do any meaningful research on different schools. As an international student, you should not expect to receive much financial support from Canadian universities.

There are many good universities all across Canada. The province of Ontario has a common university application system:

Thanks! Sadly, I got a B+ in chemistry both semesters this year :frowning:
However, the system my school uses only shows A, B, C, D, F, no +/-

I’ll definitely work as hard as I can in school this year.
