Help me find match schools

Yes, I apologize. I slipped up in my original post. I meant that those were the ones to which I’d already applied or planned to apply. I had the post typed up, but then I refreshed the page accidentally and had to retype it. I guess I messed it up a tiny bit. I wasn’t aiming to mislead.

Any more comments? Suggestions?

I suggest University of Rochester and Stony Brook. Rochester less safe than Stony Brook, but they should want you. You’re into Stony Brook. I don’t know if money is an issue, but Stony Brook is very reasonable for OOS.

Well, I live in Roslyn, so I know SB won’t be a problem financially (location-wise).

D received her acceptance to Georgia Tech BME and Semi-Finalist status today. She is also in at UT-Austin and Texas A&M BME.

She is waiting for Stanford. Was her favorite when visiting.

Has never been to Atlanta. When she contacted them to clarify something on the application (really strange application - no letters of recommendation or counselors letters unless you are a PSP Semi. Since it was already mid October they asked her her stats and told her to make sure the ap was postmarked on or before Oct 31. I guess the admins officer knew something ;)

Congrats UnivMom and gl with Stanford!

D4 I dont’t really think you need any more safeties.

Thank you so much for the encouragement.

Luckily, I don’t have much time to be nervous for Stanford this week. Monday is my birthday and my audition for a show at my school. Tuesday is (hopefully) my callback audition. Wednesday I have to go to the DMV to get my driver’s license (yay!). I guess Thursday is my only day to worry.

GL w/Stanford.

First DL? How many years did you grade advance?

I am turning 17. I just skipped one year (sophomore).

RPI. Good engineering/CS. Excellent possibility of large amount of merit aid.

Guess I erred based on info received here. D is Semi-Finalist, but not necessarily accepted to GT. The mail sometimes criss crosses if enveloppes go out on the same day or a day apart. Their website flowchart gives the impression that D would be admitted and then become semi-finalist in PSP. According to Admissions, this is not the case
