Help me find schools?? Pre-pharm chem major, low science subscore, high composite

Hey! So basically, I am very nervous about applying now because my ACT science subscore is low, but my composite is pretty decent. I never paid much attention to the subscore til now, so now I feel like all of my matches are now reaches, safeties are now matches, etc. If someone could please help me out and suggest other schools I have a good chance of getting into, I would appreciate it!

Brief stats:

UW: 3.72
W: 4.32
Class Rank: None
ACT: 30
English: 34
Math: 27
Reading: 33
Science: 25
Writing: 7

Then I took the ACT without the writing and got:
Composite: 31
English: 33
Math: 27
Reading: 32
Science: 30
I emailed the schools I am applying to and they said they just needed a writing score on file, so I sent both scores and they will consider my higher ACT composite and subscores. However, some schools won't do this.

Will my low science subscore hurt me? Do schools even look at the subscores?

Schools I am applying to so far (Schools with a * won't take both ACT scores)

U-Mich
Ohio State (can't remember if this one will take them)
Northeastern University
Purdue*
Butler

I like big schools, and don't like rural environments. Beyond that, I am very open to suggestions. I would like to avoid majoring in chem but if the school doesn't have some type of pharmacy major that is okay. Thank you so much for reading all this.

How about Auburn or South Carolina. You would probably be able to get some merit money and they have pharmacy. I don’t think they look at sub scores much though.

So you don’t think the low subscore would hurt me for Purdue? Their composite range is 24-30. I just hate being on the low end, especially for my intended major, and I thought Purdue was a sure thing but now I don’t know.

Which university for South Carolina are you talking about?

I see from another post you are from IL. Can you afford UMich OOS? Or Purdue or tOSU? You have Purdue down but don’t want a rural school?

I can afford it, and I visited Purdue and liked it. I just don’t want to be in the middle of cornfields.

Bumppp? I’m really interested to know how badly my science score will hurt me. And what any possible safety schools would be. I was thinking Mizzou or University of Minnesota? And opinions would be very helpful :)

I think most public Us use the composite ACT score so the science score shouldn’t hurt you (this may not be true for extremely competitive schools where admission offices are looking for discriminators). I can’t see why Minn or MO would not also be good choices.

butler is a good one!
