Help Me Find Schools?

I've found a few i'm really interested in such as

Rank: 149/597
GPA: ~3.5-3.6 (UW) 4.97/6 (W)
SAT: 680 Math, 680 CR, 600 Writing --- im retaking in october
ACT: taking it next week hoping to get a 32-33

AP Bio, AP World History, AP US Gov, various Honors classes

ECs: Summer volunteering at a rehab center for two summers, Coaching 12-13 year old kids basketball, Playing in school intramural basketball for 3 years, playing in the community basketball league for 4+ years, shadowing an Orthopaedic surgeon this past summer, Treasurer of MSA (Muslim Students Assn) Sophomore year, helping to organize the school blood drive with the AP Bio teacher

I'm looking for an undergrad business major looking to go to med school after that.

Please suggest various matches, high matches, and low reaches :)

Boston College
Colgate University
Fordham
Syracuse
Temple U
etc etc

^^etc etc? that helps. BC is not a low reach or a match. It is a very high reach along with vanderbilt and emory.

Alright, other than that, I named four more schools.

Adding etc did not depreciate the quality of my suggestion, so I don’t see why it would be a problem.

And BC would be a really really really high match. We can disagree on this one.

Okay lets not argue, haha. Thanks though. I’m going to pick one reach-high reach and just go at it hard…so which one would be the “easiest”?

What do you think of my list? I’m looking for a medium to large school (>15,000 students) in or near a metropolis.

PS: I like the Syracuse suggestion :)

bump. . . .

ive heard good things about wisconsin-madison. i would say emory is easiest because its fairly new and not as well known as vanderbilt(once again, dont know much about emory.)

btw vandy doesnt have undergrad business.

Emory has been around a long time (1836) and is very well known.

Ga. Tech is most known for engineering and tough grading. Not great for someone wanting a business degree and good gpa for med. sch. admission.

no its actually not as well known as the other schools. maybe in that region its well known, but not northeast.

and by fairly new i meant increasing interest

Your rank makes BC/Vandy/Emory and other schools at that level very tough. Most of the kids at these schools ranked under top 10% are hooked.

What state are you from? Since you plan med school, you could save a lot going to a state school.

I live in Texas, but the unfortunate 10% rule will most likely make getting into UT a hassle, even though every one in the top 25% of my HS is worthy of attending it. I’m going to apply to UT, A&M, and the UH Honors program…

but getting out of the state would be awesome. EFC is ~25-30k

I added Villanova and Syracuse to my list
