I’ll look into all of the suggestiont, ahsnk! I

Out of curiosity, are there any schools in the Northwest/Northmidwest-ish that would fit my standards? Most of the ones I know of (Umich, Uwashington, U of Minnesota etc.) are all publics and thus I can’t expect much aid.

What would you guys think of Boston University? I still hvae to run the calculator, but do you think I would be qualified for any significant merit aid there? The 75th percentile ACT is a 30, and I got a 31.

Look in the CDS what percentage students got merit aid. Keep in mind that you get “significant” merit aid, you need to be in the top of that group. So if 12% students got merit aid at BU, it’s not sufficient to be top25%, and even being top12% doesn’t result in “significant” merit aid. “Significant” merit often exists in single digits only, so you’d need to look at colleges where 31 places you in the top 5% or higher.
Overall, I’d advise retaking te ACT since going from 31 to 32 is doable and 32 is the threshold for many awards.

Alright thanks. I am planning on retaking it. Hopefully I can get a 32.

Well I Got the results for ACT back. Got a 32, and a 33 superscored.
