<p>My very outdoorsy son is really happy at his college, Hendrix. Arkansas is not called “the Natural State” for nothing. It is beautiful. There is excellent hiking nearby and the Ozarks are close enough for a day trip, although he and his friends do weekend camping trips whenever possible. There is excellent canoeing, rafting and fishing on the White and Buffalo rivers. Because of the mild climate, you can do most of these things nearly year round. </p>
<p>Hendrix has a growing international population–my son has a number of friends from China, Rwanda and various countries in South America and Europe. With your stats you would likely qualify for some nice merit aid.</p>
