Hi! I am looking for colleges on the East Coast (but probably not below South Carolina). I like a bigger school (10,000+), but I am absolutely willing to look in the 4,000-10,000 range. Other than that, I don't really have any specific qualifications aside from it being a co-ed school. Financial aid isn't important.

GPA - 4.05 of 4.0 (3.7 UW)

Class Rank - top 15%

-remaining classes were honors

-SASU (students against substance use - promoting students to be substance free and also planning events for school/community)
-Nursing home volunteer
-National honors society
-Spanish honors society

-Planning committee (for school activities)

Work experience:
-Local retail store (10,11,12)
-Babysitting (9,10,11,12)
-Summer internship at a business - gained a lot of valuable knowledge here, learned about how businesses run, and how to do things like bookkeeping (9,10,11,12)

What can your family afford? What is your home state?

*Financial aid isn’t important.

So, are you saying that your parents have said that they’ll pay $55k+ per year?

If so, then…what is your major or career goal?

Look at American Univ…Loyola Maryland…Fordham…

Yes my parents will pay $55k+ if they have to, but they are hoping for some aid. But if we don’t get any then they will pay full.

Intended major is most likely business, maybe communications

Take a look at University of Maryland in College Park, the Smith School (for business majors). Great program, selective admission, and you are a metro ride from downtown DC.

[Undergraduate Program - Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park](http://www.rhsmith.umd.edu/undergrad/)

Fordham has a great communications program and I think you would definitely most likely get in.

There’s a lot of really great schools within your range and some places where you’d likely get aid for academics.

City:
American
BU
Northeastern
GW
Loyola (Baltimore suburb)
Fordham

State schools:
U Maryland
UConn
Penn State (huge school),
U Mass Amherst (big)
U Delaware

Other:
Fairfield
Quinnipiac

Syracuse University

Awesome, thanks for the suggestions guys! I love lots of the schools that were listed, so that gives me hope - thanks again!
