Help me find the right mid-range engineering school (merit aid)!

@LakeWashington‌ The problem is - I don’t even know if I want to do aerospace. My declared is electrical engineering, AE is just something I think I might be interested in. I don’t necessarily want to limit myself to colleges without AE, but I don’t know if I want to seek out highly AE specific schools.
Choices, choices… sigh…

Aerospace companies hire many Mech Es and EEs as well. None of those will be problems.

Ok, I’m pretty sure I am done. Deadlines are too soon and I just can’t make up my mind anymore, all these places are starting to seem the same so I might as well stick with what I have. Didn’t end up applying to Princeton because I don’t think the fit would be right for me at an Ivy, Princeton seems to be a bit more uptight than most schools.

That leaves me with my 7 original colleges (UIdaho, UIUC, USC, MIT, UMich, Bama, and Purdue). I know my chances for merit are slim to none at most, but I can hope, right?

Still, I get the nagging feeling I should apply to another school. Case Western, and Temple have later deadlines… :((

I would like to take a second and thank everybody so much for their help. You guys have been a real blessing to me and I know I will find the right college for me (somehow, lol). I’d especially like to thank @mom2collegekids‌ who has been here since the beginning of my search. It’s very nice of you to put so much time into this forum helping panicking teenagers  rock on!

Rochester Institute of Technology?
