<p>If you need scholarship money to afford college, then you need to apply to the schools that give them for your GPA and test scores.</p>
<p>It’s likely that you’re applying for private scholarships that are ONLY for freshman year. That’s not going to pay for 4 years of college. </p>
<p>Also, if you are low income, then apply to some instate publics…including one that you can commute to. Your state may provide aid in addition to federal aid for low income students.</p>
