Help me get a scholarship, please!

^^^ Mom is right. You supposedly “know what you’re doing”.

Your essay is too long and from what I scanned, it sounded sappy with well-known cliches.

AND you appear to be a little arrogant, not just in your attitude about your schooling status but everything. You say you’re poor but you took time off to travel. The last time I checked, money is needed to travel-you can’t be that poor. Additionally, you’ve deceived yourself into thinking that YOU are eligible for all entering freshman university scholarships because you’ve only taken a couple of classes in CC.

Newsflash! YOU don’t get to decide if you are an entering university freshman student. Once you exit the high school and begin the community college process, part-time or not, you will have to be admitted as a transfer student to the next college. You are correct that you are a freshman at the CC, but since you’ll eventually be a transfer, a rising junior, you will be ineligible for freshman scholarships at a 4yr university. But “you know what you’re doing”.

Check with your FA at the community college. But you already know that, “you know what you’re doing”. AND BEWARE, if you try to enter a university without mentioning that you attended a CC, you will get caught.

When I went to college, (my friend) Leslie’s roommate was asked politely, by the university, to leave. It seems that she didn’t want them having her record of her CC experience. She attended classes at our university for about 2 months before she was dismissed. But Nevermind, you know what you’re doing.
