Do I have chances of getting into Ivy Leagues like Stanford & Harvard assuming my short essays were outstanding and My Common App essay was good enough.
I am worried about Math is 87 still a good mark?
And is a deflation automatic rejection?
Yes, you have a chance at Stanford assuming that your short essays are good. Just keep in mind that Stanford’s acceptance rate is 5%, so you shouldn’t count on it.
No, deflation does not mean automatic rejection. The only thing that stands out to me is your SAT score — Stanford’s SAT average is a 2210, so you should definitely be aiming for 2250+. A 2000 or even 2100 wouldn’t help you in the competitive applicant pool.
From where I come th 92 i have is the highest in Bio in my grade and the other 90’s fall in the top 5 range also. As far as Math is considered in the top 4
Your SAT scores are low and ECs are very light for schools like Stanford and Harvard. With a probable 3% or less acceptance rate for applicants from your country, the question you have to ask yourself is “will I stand out enough to be the 1 person out of 33 applications they choose?” You are better equipped to answer that than we are. Good luck with your applications.
