My family lives abroad and I have just finished my army service and am going to Columbia next year. For financial and social reasons my family is moving back to the US this summer and my brother (who was 5 when we left America) is going to have to start an American school and adjust during a really hard period of high-school.
It came as a shock to him when my parents told him and he's pretty crushed. The only silver lining is that he's always wanted to go to Princeton and study Physics (he's a a very lovable geek).
Does anyone currently in Princeton have any advice on what he should take in school, or do as far as ECs or anything that would help.
I would hate for his dream to be crushed because he spent 11th grade catching up and have that reflect on his grades.
Also, as far as ECs go. Where we live now, there is no concept of ECs. The only thing he's done was some volunteer work so he really has nothing exceptional to point to in 10th and 9th grade.
Please Help!! I really love my brother and I want him to succeed.

Take the hardest classes. Do what you love.
