WHICH PROGRAM IS BETTER FOR FILMMAKING?

BUMP, I have to decide soon.

You know that only YOU can decide this. I’m sorry that I don’t know a lot about either of these schools. What I do know is that when my d applied to some of the top film schools the University of Miami wasn’t even on the list. If you look on this thread there is ALOT of information on various schools. On the latest list of the Top 25 Film Schools by the Hollywood Reporter, which is not a magic list but one of the lists people look at, Boston University is listed as #12 while Miami didn’t make the list. See “Big List of Film Cinema Programs” in this forum.

There are lots of other things to look at, like the cost of going to each, will you have to go into debt to go to BU?
Do you like or can you deal with a very cold and probably snowy winter in Boston versus sunny Miami?

Wish I could be of more help but whatever you decide remember that YOU control what you get out of any program. There are many successful people in the industry who have never gone to film school. Hopefully you visited each school. Do all the research you can and then go with your gut. Good Luck!

So you think BU is the better of the two?
