Help Me, I'm Foolish

I'm pretty uninformed with how everything works so bear with me please.

I was accepted last year for the spring 09 semester. My letter said that I would get a priority over my housing if I made my deposit then. I feel like I'm getting the same chances as everyone else so far since I haven't received any special letters. What's worse is that I didn't check my Binghamton email and I might be way behind on housing preferences. Can anyone give me some info about this?

Also since there are residents that have suite and corridors, how would you know which one you would live in?

What is going on for Orientation? Do we go around, register for classes, and then stay there?

Are we suppose to get a list for what we need to bring for living at Bing?

I went to a community college for the fall semester for credits. Do I just call them up and say "see ya later and send my credits over to Binghamton"? Since I did this, would I be considered now a transfer or still a freshman?

Thanks for taking your time with me. :p

You bring whatever you want to bring (ie. condoms, posters, toothbrush, porn, etc.).

Have your community college send an official transcript to Binghamton.

You were accepted last year for Spring 09 semester. Therefore you will be a freshman. You will be a transfer only if you applied for transfer. In this case, you did not.
