<p>I am a senior in NC
I have visited UNC-Ch, Georgia Tech, and Duke</p>

<p>I like GT and UNC and i think Duke is a farrrrr reach
I also have backups as ECU and NCSU
but I really want to get into UNC or GT</p>

<p>What are my chances? :X</p>

<p>i don’t get the wide gap b/w your uw and weighted… LOL. but it’s not as bad as one might think. get your sats up and write really good essays and you’ll probably get into the school that you want! Duke is a bit of reach… but who knows? Best of luck!</p>

As a fellow Asian, I’m here to tell you to calm it down. You’ll get into colleges you are qualified for.
GTech gets competitive for the math/science, well, tech stuff. What do you wan to major in?
Raising those SATs are definitely gonna help. I’m taking the Oct ones too. Good luck to the both of us!</p>

<p>the gap in GPA is because AP courses count for 6 while standard courses are worth 4

<p>No offense but I don’t think Duke will happen unless you write the best essay they have going there.
UNC-CH is definitely a reach but its achievable with a good essay and some luck
The others are more in range and are definitely possible</p>
