I know some of you might find this stupid, but I'm really asking for help and I hope you will help me find the answer I need. I'm a junior at NYU and I took on too many things this semester and my grades took the toll. I was placed on academic probation my sophomore first semester and I manage to pick it up after and returned to academic good standing my second semester of sophomore year, but my GPA fell after second semester and I was placed on academic probation again for Junior first semester. I worked hard this semester to try and bring it up, but my GPA was still under 2. I'm really terrified that I might get academically dismissed. Will I be academically dismissed or will I be placed under a terminal probation? Please help. I don't know what to do if I get academically dismissed. I really have no where to go since it's already past the deadline to transfer to a different school. I don't want to lose everything I built up after leaving a life I wanted to leave behind.
