Help me make a college list!

I want to get into government and here are some of my stats:
Unweighted GPA: 3.86 out of 4
SAT: 1550
ACT: 35
SAT II: Math II 800, World History 790, US History 800, Biology 800
AP: 5 English, 5 Comparative Gov, 4 World History, x US History, x Calc, x Bio
Region: New England

If money and paying for college is an issue, I would look at this website http://www.collegecalc.org/majors/political-science-and-government-general/
Otherwise, Harvard, Yale, Trinity College, Dartmouth college, or Brown. Hope this helps!

Willamette in Oregon. Right across the street from the state capital; legislators are rumored to walk across to get lunch in the school’s great cafeteria and student internships at the capital are plentiful. You’d likely get merit aid.

@ThatHistoryKid : Here’s a start to your list:

Georgetown
Johns Hopkins
UVA
Duke
Northwestern
Stanford (reach for everyone)
GW (Safety)
Ivies if interested

For the study of public policy, consider schools in D.C., schools with terms in D.C., or simply those with top government programs:

Georgetown
George Washington
American

Amherst
Bates
Bowdoin
Hamilton
Kenyon
Claremont McKenna
Harvard
Princeton
Yale
Stanford
et al

You’d probably get decent merit at Dickinson.

Add BC to the list.

You don’t have any trouble finding reaches - they’re universities with 25% acceptance rates.
So, the difficulty is going to be finding matches and safeties you like and can afford.
Seconding Dickinson but demonstrate interest early.

If you’re looking for a school with many opportunities for your field, I would consider schools in DC.
For example:
George Washington U
American

Definitely look at Hamilton.

Columbia would also generally match your profile and interests.

Those are great test scores! What exactly are you looking for in a college? Do you want to go to a public school? A LAC? An Ivy? Here are three recommendations for each.

PUBLIC:
College of William & Mary
Michigan
Berkley

LAC:
Bowdoin
Claremont McKenna College
Wiliams

IVY:
Harvard
Yale
Princeton

Georgetown also has an excellent political science program since it is in Washington DC.

Duke, Penn, Georgetown, Princeton, Yale, Columbia
