<p>Vince, I will probably not need aid anywhere, but if accepted to some of my out of state publics, I would need aid for them to be worth it over Maryland. Also, I am not a NMSF, but I am commended, does that mean anything? Thanks for your help!</p>
<p>Commended would be an admissions advantage but would not lead to significant merit aid. I would suggest dropping UCLA; the UCs are extremely competitive and offer little in the way of financial aid for OOS. Brown has very little in common with the schools on your list, is very competitive and only offers need-based aid so you might want to eliminate that as well.</p>
