help me on my approach tor eataking the ACT!

FOR RETAKING LOL i cant spell

well,i plan on retaking the ACT September 15.Next week starting the 15 or so i plan on buying the real ACT and using that book for about a month,so lets say until august 10 or something. Then, i plan on buying Barrons book and using that to study the science mainly, until early September and then review everything until test date.Does this sound good to you guys?should i break that practice test into parts or just do them all at once?

Composite:24

Math:24(have no idea how i pulled that off, lol)

science:21

shooting for a 27

BUY AS MANY BOOKS AS POSSIBLE. do as many tests as you can get a hold on. just practice practice practice. i went through like 6-8 books between july 4th and the september test.

just beware that the science sections in the practice books are harder than in real life (even with the real ACT), so dont be surprised if you get between 20-30 wrong.

i heard Mcgraw-hill's ACT book has a lot of practice test in them, but are they close to the real thing?

bumppppppp

ok well i just brought the McGraw-hill 10 practice ACT book.

i must admit it is very similar to some of the question asked on the real ACT.
however i don't believe it is the exact same as the ACT, BUT VERY similar. anyway just get the book so you can practice taking the test so you can find out your own personal strategy of approaching the test.

i bought the "real act prep" book. the red one, made by the act people. i found it helped. :)
